If you're trying to lose weight, you know you should be drinking more water... but it's super annoying to try to actually put in to place, right?

Especially if you feel like every time you increase your water intake, you just end up running to the ladies room all the time. Or maybe you don't really like water all that much... don't worry, I've got you covered!

Did you know that proper hydration isn't just about the water you drink? It's also about the water you absorb. Don't worry, it's actually pretty easy to hydrate for weight loss once you understand both elements you need to hydrate - water and minerals.

4 EASY WAYS TO DRINK MORE WATER FOR WEIGHT LOSS

So, here's some easy ways to increase your water intake - and most importantly actually hydrate your body - without lugging around an enormous water bottle 24/7 or running to the ladies room all day.

1: Use a straw. It's amazing how much more you'll drink with a straw... plus it looks less obnoxious than chugging a sports bottle when you're on Zoom #win


2: Put a large glass of water on your night table before bed, and drink it first thing in the morning. We're usually thirsty when we wake up, so this is pretty easy to do.

3. Add a pinch of sea salt in your water, and include foods high rich in potassium and magnesium, as well as using sea salt on your food to ensure you have enough minerals in your diet to absorb all that water you're drinking. Try adding avocado, nuts, seeds, sweet potatoes, bananas, and dark chocolate to your diet.


4: Mineral water, herbals teas and decaf coffee count towards your water intake. Yum, right? I love a decaf coffee in the afternoon.


Bonus tip: water is a great delivery vehicle for supplements. I add electrolytes, trace minerals, or fulvic acid to my large water bottle in the afternoon.
